Students from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering attended the Boeing Conference as part of their E-Week celebrations, along with other schools, to showcase their research and senior design projects.

They started off with a networking event where they had the opportunity to speak to Boeing engineers and learn more about their work at the Ridley Park location. They then had the opportunity to showcase our projects at an expo event, where they presented to Boeing professionals and other engineering students. They were also given a tour of the manufacturing and maintenance processes for the V-22 Osprey and the CH-47 Chinook.

"Seeing the full lifecycle of each of these aircraft, from initial assembly and component integration to inspection, repair, and long-term upkeep, was an incredible experience." - Om Patel, MAE Student, Attendee

Thank you, Boeing, Dr. Bilgen, Dr. DeMauro, Dr. Mazzeo, Dr. Baruh, and the NJ Space Grant Consortium for providing these students with this amazing opportunity!
