Rutgers AIAA RPL wins Second Place in the 45k Multi-Stage Category at the International Rocket Engineering Competition
The Rutgers AIAA RPL team won second place in the 45k multi-stage category at the 2025 IREC competition held June 9-14, 2025 in Midland, Texas. RPL had the highest altitude of all IREC competition flights: 37,719 ft ASL. Their award was for placing in one of the most difficult categories in this international competition.
The Rutgers AIAA RPL is advised by Prof. Edward DeMauro and co-advised by Prof. Steven Berg. RPL would also like to thank the support of the New Jersey Space Grant Consortium.
